Abstract
An object of the present invention is to provide an organic EL display that enables accurate measurement of the thickness of a transparent resin in an effective pixel area. The organic EL display of the present invention has a structure in which an organic EL device () having a plurality of partitions () placed at intervals in a predetermined direction and an organic light emitting layer () provided between the adjacent partitions (), and a color filter () having a black matrix () and a pigment layer () placed in each of frames of the black matrix () are bonded via a transparent resin (), and a light transmissive opening () is provided in a section of the black matrix () other than a section facing the partition ().
