Abstract

The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for applying a fluid () to items () to be cleaned, which items are continuously or intermittently transported in the conveying direction () in an automatic cleaning machine, preferably an automatic pass-through dishwasher. At least two, preferably tubular, spray bodies (.n) which are spaced apart from one another are arranged in at least one spray plane () which is oriented parallel to the conveying direction () of the items () to be cleaned.
