Abstract

The metering servovalve () includes a valve body (), a shutter (), and an electromagnet (), and is housed inside a casing () of the injector (). The electromagnet () activates a movable armature () performing a travel defined by a stop member () carried by the electromagnet (), which is fixed inside the casing by a threaded ring nut () with the interposition of at least one deformable shim (). The ring nut () is screwed to a predetermined tightening torque to a thread () on the casing () to elastically deform the shim (). And the shim () is defined by a metal ring with, for example, an L-, C-, S-, Z- or Σ-shaped cross section.
