Abstract
Data characterizing contact information for an individual is obtained. Thereafter, the contact information is associated with a company identifier for a company. A remote data source is then polled to obtain at least one graphical image characterizing a logo for the company so that a virtual business card containing the at least one graphical image and the contact information can be generated and displayed. In some implementations, other information from a remote data source can be used to generate a background portion of a virtual business card.
