Abstract

An image pickup lens LN includes four blocks of lens blocks Ci (i=to). Lens substrate Liis different in material from lens portions Liand Li. First lens block Chas positive power, second lens block Chas negative power, and fourth lens block Chas a concave shape facing an image side in a paraxial region. At least one of lens portions with a concave shape in the paraxial region satisfies the conditional expression νn<40 (where νn is an Abbe number of a lens portion having a concave shape in the paraxial region), and first lens block Csatisfies the conditional expression 0.5<f1/f<1.5 (where f1 is a composite focal length of the first lens block and f is a composite focal length of the total system).
