Abstract

Electrodes Eand Eare formed on a substrate SB. Electrodes Eto Eare formed on the substrate SBto surround the electrodes Eand E. Conductive lines Land Lextend over the substrate SBto sandwich the electrodes Eand E, and are connected to the electrodes Eand E. An insulating sheet, having a surface exposed to outside, covers the electrodes Eto Eand conductive lines Lto L. When a finger contacts the insulating sheet, if there are the electrodes Eand Eon a bottom side of a contact portion, capacitances of the electrical conductors ECand ECare changed. When the finger contacts the insulating sheet, if there are the electrodes Eand the conductive line Lthat extends in the vicinity thereof on the bottom side of the contact portion, capacitances of the electrical conductors ECand ECare changed.
