Abstract
The frame switching unithas the frame analysis unit, the frame rewriting unit, the frame transfer unit, the table search unit, the forwarding table, the MAC learning unit, the control frame distribution unit, the setting control unit, the STP control unitwhich, when receiving a topology change message, converts an LT flag from 0 to 1 to indicate an entry as of before switching to leave the entry in the table, and the OAM control unitwhich, upon an LT execution request before failure switching, transfers an LT frame according an output port in an entry whose LT flag is 1 among entries in the forwarding table
