Abstract
Self-pumping spring and damper unit () with automatically activated ride level control system for chassis of vehicles having a pump which is driven as a result of the distance between the articulation points () which changes as a result of the spring compression and spring extension of the vehicle, wherein an elastic connecting element () is arranged between at least one pump part () and the associated articulation point () in such a way that it at least partially elastically compensates the distance between the pump parts () which changes when the vehicle experiences spring compression and spring extension.
