Abstract
An IC of a front end circuit which can be ready for various television broadcasting systems is provided. The front end circuit includes tuning circuitsA toC andA toC and high frequency amplifiersA toC individually corresponding to a plurality of reception bands of television broadcasts. The front end circuit further includes a switch circuitfor selectively supplying reception signals to the tuning circuitsA toC, and a switch circuitfor selectively extracting outputs of the tuning circuitsA toC. The front end circuit further includes mixer circuitsI andQ to which an output of the switch circuitis supplied, and a PLLfor supplying local oscillation signals SLOI and SLOQ having phases orthogonal to each other to the mixer circuitsI andQ. The front end circuit further includes a complex band-pass filterto which outputs of the mixer circuitsI andQ are supplied, and an output circuitfor mathematically operating an output of the complex band-pass filterand outputting an intermediate frequency signal SIF.
