Abstract

The object aims to improve the reproducibility of color and the stability in density of a toner. Disclosed is a toner comprising at least a resin and a colorant, wherein the colorant comprises a compound represented by general formula (1) and a compound represented by general formula (2). [In general formula (1), Rto Rrespectively denote a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, or an alkyl group containing a fluorine atom, provided that at least one of Rto Rdenotes a chlorine atom]. [In general formula (2), Rto Rrespectively denote a hydrogen atom, or an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms; Rand Rrespectively denote a hydrogen atom, or an alkyl group having 1 to 2 carbon atoms; Rdenotes a hydrogen atom, or an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms; m denotes a number of 1 or 2; Adenotes a chlorine ion or a sulfonic acid compound ion; and n denotes a number of 1 or 2.
