Abstract

In an image forming apparatus, damage to the apparatus caused by power conduction at the time of installation is prevented. When initial adjustment at factory ends and service person moves the apparatus, a power switch is turned OFF. Using this OFF operation as a trigger, a control unitreads specific information (information related to pre-processing before starting power supply to the apparatus), and displays the information on electronic paper
