Abstract
A lubricant-tight vane rotary vacuum pump, includes a pump stage () having a pump stage housing () with a gas inlet, compression chamber (), and a gas outlet (), a channel () connecting the compression chamber () with the gas outlet (), and a groove () at least partially surrounding a mouth of the connecting channel () that opens into the gas outlet (), so that lubricant, which is tossed out of the compression chamber, is collected in the groove () and re-entry of the lubricant back into the compression chamber () is prevented.
