Abstract
A method and a device for detecting the initiation of a starting process of a motorcycle are disclosed. The method includes the step of acquiring a throttle valve angle (α), an engine speed (n) or both the throttle valve angle (α) and the engine speed (n). The method further includes the step of analyzing the throttle valve angle (α), the engine speed (n) or both the throttle valve angle (α) and the engine speed (n) to detect the initiation of the starting process of the motorcycle. The device includes both a means for acquiring and a means for analyzing the throttle valve angle (α), the engine speed (n) or both the throttle valve angle (α) and the engine speed (n).
