Abstract

A method of treatment or prophylaxis of diabetes, obesity, dyslipidemia or metabolic syndrome includes administering an effective amount of a benzylamine derivative represented by Formula (I): wherein, Rrepresents an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms; Rrepresents an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms; Rand Reach independently represent a halogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, a haloalkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms or an alkoxy group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms; and Rrepresents a hydrogen atom or an alkoxy group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, or a pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt thereof.
