Abstract
Coated cemented carbide inserts are particularly useful for wet or dry milling steels. The inserts are formed by a cemented carbide body including WC, NbC and a W-alloyed Co binder phase, and a coating including an innermost layer of TiCNO, with equiaxed grains, a layer of TiCNOwith columnar grains and a layer of α-AlO.
