Abstract
To provide a paper feeding device that can stably feed a recording media of an angle bottomed envelope or the like with a non-uniform thickness in which defects such as feeding failure, oblique feeding, dog ears and paper jamming or the like are not generated, a paper feeding device of the present invention includes a bottom platethat sends up a recording media stacked thereon to a paper feeding position, a feeding devicethat feeds an uppermost piece of the recording media sent up to the paper feeding position in which an auxiliary memberwith a curved surface is disposed at least within a width directional area occupied by the paper feeding deviceand atop an upper surface of the bottom plate, a height from each point of the curved surface of the auxiliary memberto the bottom plateis non-uniform.
