Abstract
A blood flow calibration systemincluding a computeroperable to determine and store calibration data for a flow meter, a test systemoperable to simulate blood flow for the flow meter, thereby allowing the computerto determine the calibration data, and a programmeroperable to transfer the calibration data from the computerto the flow meter. The flow meterpreferably includes a power management circuitoperable to detect whether the flow meteris powered. In the event that the flow meteris unpowered, the power management circuitis preferably able to supply power to a portion of the flow meterin order to transfer the calibration data thereto.
