Abstract
The invention relates to a potentiometer comprising (a) at least two electrically conducting segments (), each of which has a contact end () that is bordered by a circumferential edge () and which adjoin each other in a flush manner by means of one respective section () of the edges () thereof, and (b) a connecting device () for electrically connecting a first contact point (P) in a first segment to at least one second contact point (P, P) in a second segment that is different from the first segment.
