Abstract
Use of a compound for the manufacture of a medicament for use in therapy of a neurodegenerative condition, wherein the compound is of formula (I): wherein Ris CHR—ORor CHR—SR, or aryl or heteroaryi optionally substituted with one or more groups R; Ris alkyl or is part of a ring with R; Ris H, alkyl or CH(when forming part of a ring with R); Ris H or alkyl or is part of a ring with R; Ris aryl or heteroaryi optionally substituted with R; each Ris independently alkyl, CF, OH, Oalkyl, OCOalkyl, CONH, CN, halogen, NH, NO, NHCHO, NHCONH, NHSOalkyl, CONH, SOMe, SONH, Salkyl, CHSOalkyl or OCONalkyl; Ris Ror (CH)OR, R, CF, OH, OR, OCOR, COR, COOR, CONH, CHCONH, CN, halogen, NH, NO, NHCHO, NHCONH, NHCONHR, NHCON(R), NHCOR, NHCOaryl, NHSOMe, CONH, SMe, SOMe or SONH; Ris (CH)OR, (CH)OR, (CH)COORor (CH)COaryl; Ris alkyl or cycloalkyl; and n is 1 to 4; or a salt thereof.
