Abstract
The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for characterizing acoustical properties of an outer ear, the method comprising the steps of: transmitting a first acoustic signaltowards the outer ear, receiving a second acoustic signalfrom the outer ear, and characterizing acoustical propertiesof the outer ear on the basis of the second acoustic signal.
