Abstract
The present invention concerns a method for obtaining a context of a mobile terminal () which is expecting to be served by a first base station () of a wireless telecommunication network comprising a plurality of base stations () linked together by a telecommunication network. The first base station which is expected to serve the mobile terminal, receives a first message from the mobile terminal () through a wireless interface, the message comprising at least an identifier of the mobile terminal () and an identifier of a second base station (), transfers through the telecommunication network () a second message to the second base station () of which the identifier is comprised in the received message, receives through the telecommunication network a third message from the second base station, the third message message comprising the context of the mobile terminal.
