Abstract

A sole structurefor a shoe comprises an upper platethat is disposed on the upper side of the structureand that has upraised portionsprojecting upwardly form opposite side edge portions of the upper plate, a lower platedisposed below the upper plate, and a plurality of longitudinally separated connecting portionsandthat are disposed between the upper plateand the lower platesto form voidstherebetween and that elastically connect the upper platewith the lower plate.
