Abstract
Disclosed herein is a slide type writing tool having a dryness prevention unit. The writing tool includes a hollow shaft () having a nib hole, with shutter shaft seats protruding from the inner wall of the shaft. A cartridge () is secured to the shaft. A knock part is inserted into an insert hole formed in the shaft, and a pair of pressing parts is provided on a nib extension shaft of the cartridge. A rear O-ring () surrounds an end of the cartridge. A spherical shutter () is held in the rear O-ring (), and has a spherical shutter part to isolate a nib from the exterior. A front O-ring () contacts the shutter part and the nib hole. A spring contacts at a first end thereof a lower end of a step of the cartridge, and at a second end thereof a step of the rear O-ring.
