Abstract
A housing for a hydrodynamic bearing unit of this type is formed from a resin material having high oil resistance and low outgassing property to ensure the cleanliness of the bearing unit. An ester-based lubricating oil is used as a lubricating oil filled inside the hydrodynamic bearing unit, and the housingis formed from an LCP-based resin material.
