Abstract
An image recording device can accumulate discharged paper neatly stacked in a paper tray even when the length of the discharged paper changes. An inkjet printerthat records images on and discharges roll paperfrom a paper exithas a cutter unitthat cuts the roll paperafter an image is recorded, and a discharge tray unitthat receives slipsdischarged from the paper exitafter being cut by the cutter unit. The discharge tray unitis connected by a hinge at an incline to the caseso that the paper stopdisposed at the distal end of the discharge tray unitis down, and is configured so that the length of the discharge tray unitis adjustable, and the inclination angle of the discharge tray unitis changed by the operation of shortening the length of the discharge tray unitto a more horizontal angle than when the length of the discharge tray unitis extended.
