Abstract
A wind turbine blade includes a laminated structure having an outer shell () having a shape of the blade, an upwind-side reinforcing section () which reinforces a upwind-side part of the blade in the outer shelland a downwind-side reinforcing sectionwhich reinforces a downwind-side part of the blade in the outer shell. The outer shellincludes a first multidirectional material, a first unidirectional reinforcing materialand another multidirectional materialwhich are layered. The upwind-side reinforcing sectionincludes another unidirectional reinforcing materialprovided between the first unidirectional reinforcing materialand another multidirectional material. The downwind-side reinforcing sectionincludes yet another unidirectional reinforcing material provided between the unidirectional reinforcing materialand the multidirectional material. The outer shellincludes a first core memberrespectively provided between the upwind-side reinforcing sectionand the downwind-side reinforcing sectionon a leading edge side, and between the upwind-side reinforcing sectionand the downwind-side reinforcing sectionon a trailing edge side.
