Abstract
The light emitting moduleincludes: a mount body; and a support bodysupporting the mount body. The mount bodyincludes: a circuit boardwith wirings provided thereon; and a light emitting unitto be mounted on the circuit board. The circuit boardincludes: a base portion; and a rising portion, with the light emitting unitbeing attached thereon, rising from one end, in a longitudinal direction, of the base portionthrough a bending portion. The rising portionis divided into seven, first to seventh sidewall portionstowith slitstoprovided at six positions. First to seventh light emitting portionstoforming the light emitting unitare attached to the first to seventh sidewall portionsto, respectively. Thereby, reduction in thickness of a light emitting device including solid-state light emitting elements is achieved.
