Abstract
A method () and a mobile station () for controlling communication via a radio link based on a multi-slot based power class designation are described herein. The mobile station () may provide a multi-slot based power class designation to the communication network () to establish a radio link for communication service. The designation may be associated with a power level of the mobile station () and a number of slots corresponding to the power level. Based on the designation, the mobile station () may communicate with the communication network () via the radio link.
