Neutral calcium-aluminum double salts of the formula (A):Ca(Zn)Al(OH)An*HO  (A),where the following apply for m and n:m=0.5 to 3 and 0.5m≧n>0; An=CO, where this may be replaced completely or partially by at least one of the following groups selected from OH, ClOand HCS(═O)O (triflate) and o=0 to 3. The present invention further relates to their preparation, use in compositions and stabilizer systems and uses thereof.
