Abstract
In a multi-service communication environment, when a communication establishment request is received (-), the request containing a service identifier and relating to a service to be invoked between a sender of the request and a recipient to whom the request is targeted, interconnection information on the service is checked (--) for, how to handle the request taking into account at least the sender's operator; and the request is handled (-) according to an outcome of the checking. The interconnection information may contain policy rules and/or operator-specific service identifiers.
