Abstract
A laundry treatment composition comprising from about 1 wt. % to about 90 wt. % of a mono-hydrocarbyl amido quaternary ammonium compound comprising the structure: wherein Rcomprises a Cto Chydrocarbyl amido chain, preferably an alkenyl chain, R, Rand Rare individually selected from the group consisting of C-Chydrocarbyl, C-Chydroxy hydrocarbyl, benzyl, —(CHO)H where x has a value from about 1 to about 10, and mixtures thereof, and wherein Xis a anion; and from about 1 wt. % to about 90 wt. % of an anionic surfactant, wherein the laundry treatment composition provides sufficient softness and anti-static benefits without minimized formation of non-soluble flocs.
