Abstract
A ground-contacting component of a vehicle, consisting partly of polymeric compounds, in which at least one wireless temperature measurement systembased on surface acoustic wave or bulk acoustic wave technology is embedded in a region of a polymeric compound liable to reach temperatures above 100° C. and/or to be influenced by a surrounding region of a polymeric compound liable to reach temperatures above 100° C. during use of the vehicle. Also disclosed are a tireand the use of a wireless temperature measurement system based on acoustic surface wave or bulk acoustic wave technology.
