Abstract
The invention relates to a turbocharger () having a turbine (); and having a compressor () connected to the turbine () by means of a bearing housing (), the compressor comprising a compressor housing (), which has a reference surface (BF) perpendicular to a turbocharger axis (A), and a valve flange () equipped with a valve seat () for a wastegate valve and a connecting channel () to a compressor inlet (), wherein the valve flange () has a flange surface () that is disposed at a calculable angle (α) to the reference surface (BF) in a tilted manner, and wherein the connecting channel () has a channel axis (A), which is disposed at a calculable angle (β) in a tilted manner.
