Abstract

A primer layer is formed on a plastic lens substrate, a hard coat layer is formed on the primer layer using a coating composition comprising metal oxide fine particles, an organosilicon compound represented by the general formula RSiX, and a compound having a biphenyl sulfide compound, and an organic antireflective layer. In the plastic lens comprising a plastic lens substrate as obtained above, a plastic lens having excellent durability, impact resistance and mar resistance, and a method of producing the plastic lens are provided.
