Abstract
Piezoelectric actuator () includes a piezoelectric element () that performs expansion/contraction movement in accordance with the state of an electrical field, a base () with the piezoelectric element () adhered to one surface thereof, and a support member () for supporting the piezoelectric element () and the base (), the piezoelectric element () and base () vibrating up and down in accordance with the expansion/contraction movement of the piezoelectric element (). The base () is connected to the support member () by way of a vibration film () having less rigidity than the base (). In addition, the piezoelectric element () and support member () have different outline shapes.
