Abstract
A catalytic composition for hydrotreating of hydrocarbons is made in which a metallic component for hydrogenation is carried on a carrier formed of zeolite Y with aluminum and titanium inserted therein and a porous inorganic oxide. The zeolite Y has: unit cell dimension in a range from 24.25 to 24.60 Å, crystallinity of 95% or more, specific surface area of 500 m/g or more, total pore volume of a group of pores each having a diameter of 600 Å or below in a range from 0.45 to 0.70 ml/g, pore volume of a group of pores each having a diameter in a range from 100 to 600 Å in a range from 0.10 to 0.40 ml/g, and pore volume of a group of pores each having a diameter in a range from 35 to 50 Å in a range 0.03 to 0.15 ml/g.
