Abstract
The present invention relates to a novel bacteriophage, more particularly, a bacteriophage that has a specific bactericidal activity against Fowl Typhoid causingGallinarum (SG) and Pullorum disease-causingPullorum (SP). Further, the present invention relates to a composition for the prevention or treatment of infectious diseases caused byGallinarum orPullorum, comprising the bacteriophage as an active ingredient. Furthermore, the present invention relates to feed and drinking water for poultry, sanitizers and cleaners, comprising the bacteriophage as an active ingredient.
