Abstract

The present invention provides an absorbent articlethat does not easily warp in a leg-surrounding portion. The absorbent articleincludes an absorbing memberin an elongated shape arranged along a longitudinal direction of the absorbent article, and a stretchable chassishaving a leg-surrounding portionrecessed inward in a width direction. At least a part of the chassisis composed of a composite sheetobtained by affixing a stretchable sheetand a non-stretchable sheetto each other by a plurality of adhesive portions. The leg-surrounding portionhas an intersection crossing an expansion and contraction direction of the chassisat a predetermined angle. The plurality of adhesive portionsextend in a direction substantially perpendicular to the expansion and contraction direction.
