Abstract
In a microwave transition from a coaxial line () to a coplanar line system (), in a longitudinal hole () of an outer conductor housing (), the round inner conductor () of the coaxial line () continues in a planar inner conductor in the form of a narrow piece of foil (), of an elastically flexible insulating material and metalized on at least one side. The end of this planar inner conductor () then narrows in a transition section () to the width of a coplanar middle conductor (), with coplanar earthing areas () on both sides.
