Abstract

A composition comprising a reaction product of reactants comprising (a) a compound comprising (i) a polysulfide moiety and (ii) an oxygen atom in a β-position to a sulfur link having the formula: where each R is independently selected from H or a Cto Corganyl group, R' is independently selected from a Cto Corganyl group, R′″ is independently selected from H or a Cto Corganyl group, and x has an average of greater than 2, (b) a compound comprising a nucleophilic moiety; and (c) a compound comprising a moiety reactive to active hydrogen.
