A method of producing a laminated variant-shaped core, includes punching out core sheets-from a stripto form the outlines of the core sheets-, and push back the punched out core sheets-into the strip; forming cutoutsandreaching outer peripheries of outer platesand, the outer platesandbeing the same in outer shape and respectively containing thereinside the core sheets-, the cutoutsandhaving inner edges respectively in contact with the core sheets-; forming caulking portionsin each of the core sheets-and caulking portionsin each of the outer platesand; punching out the outer platesandfrom the stripto form the outlines of the outer platesand, and laminating and interlocking the core sheets-to form the variant-shaped laminated coreand laminating and interlocking the outer platesand; and removing the outer platesandlocated outside the laminated and interlocked variant-shaped core
