Abstract
A hybrid sphere decoding method is disclosed. Received data is processed to obtain preliminary parameters. Mlayers are determined to use breadth-first search and Mlayers to use depth-first search. A search process is implemented based on the preliminary parameters, in which Mlayers are searched using breadth-first search and Mlayers are searched using depth-first search.
