Abstract
A lens position detecting devicehas a position detecting magnet, a magnetic force detecting sensor, a positional information generating means, etc. The position detecting magnetis mounted on a rear surface of a lens holder frame. The magnetic force detecting sensorserves to generate a detected signal having a magnitude depending on the intensity of a magnetic force generated from the magnetic poles of the position detecting magnet. The magnetic force detecting sensoris disposed on a straight line that passes through the position detecting magnetparallel to the optical axis. The magnetic force detecting sensoroutputs a detected signal having a voltage corresponding (proportional) to the intensity of the magnetic force. An amplifying circuitof a positional information generating meansamplifies the detected signal Ss from the magnetic force detecting sensor
