Abstract
A liquid lens system comprises a liquid dropwhose shape can be influenced by electrical fields. A plurality of electrodes are arranged annularly around the liquid drop. The liquid lens system may be employed in an artificial eye, an accommodation measuring instrument and a dioptric telescope.
