Abstract
A method for producing a wound electrode assembly includes steps of: overlaying electrode strips () and separator strips () on each other, and winding the electrode strips () and the separator strips () on a take-up shaft () while pressing a pressing member () against the electrode strips and the separator strips. In the winding step, the pressing force of the pressing member () is increased with decrease in a tension T applied to at least one of the electrode strips () and the separator strips ().
