Abstract

A personal care product is provided which includes a composition containing dihydroxypropyltri(C-Calkyl)ammonium salt in a carrier. The composition is packaged for delivery to a consumer and includes instructions printed on or associated with the packaging indicating topical use of the composition on skin, hair or the oral mucosae. Particularly useful is dihydroxypropyltrimonium chloride which operates as a humectant to moisturize both at high and low relative humidity environments.
