Abstract
A surface-conditioning composition includes a particle of a phosphate of a bivalent or trivalent metal and has a pH value ranging from 3 to 12. The particle has a Dvalue of 3 μm or less. The composition additionally includes (1) at least one metal alkoxide selected from a silane alkoxide, a titanium alkoxide and an aluminum alkoxide and (2) a stabilizing agent.
