Abstract
A method for dealing with the packet domain gateway support node errors, including: a Radio Network Controller () sends a notification message to a Serving GPRS Support Node () according to an error indication message; in the case of a direct tunnel, the Serving GPRS Support Node initiates a process of deactivating a packet data protocol context to a user equipment () according to the received notification message, so as to make the states of the packet data protocol contexts in the user equipment, the Serving GPRS Support Node and a Gateway GPRS Support Node () consistent.
