The wireless communication apparatus includes utilization-factor calculation section for calculating a utilization factor of a wireless transmission path through which wireless communication is performed using the wireless communication function and determination section for determining a transmission rate at least on the basis of the utilization factor calculated by the utilization-factor calculation section.
