Abstract
The present invention represents an object with high-quality texture. A texture image display apparatus includes: a panel display device () having a plurality of pixels (); a lens array () having a plurality of lenses for controlling outgoing directions of light outputted from the pixels (); a pixel data generation part () for generating pixel data for each pixel; and a panel driving circuitfor driving the panel display device () on the basis of the pixel data. One lens () is provided for a plurality of adjacent pixels (), and directs light outputted from these adjacent pixels () in directions different from one another. For each pixel (), the pixel data generation part () generates pixel data of different image brightness levels depending on outgoing direction of light, for the same image point in displayed content.
